Broad Highway

Bluegrass music in the Pacific Northwest

Theron playing banjo in a park with fall leaf colors

Theron Brayman originally hails from Ohio. He got his first banjo when he was 15 and promptly joined a folk group in his high school. He discovered bluegrass music a few years later and since then Theron has played in a number of bluegrass bands at local festivals, community events and assisted living facilities. His musical influences include J.D. Crowe, Craig Smith and, of course, Earl Scruggs.

Kevin Wiley playing guitar

Kevin Wiley is a born and raised Oregonian and has actually lived “in a cabin on a hill”. In addition to playing guitar since he was a teenager, he has been a ski instructor, wildfire fighter and a union carpenter. Kevin is a recent convert to bluegrass, coming into the fold in 2021. His musical influences include Doc Watson, Tony Rice, and Billy Strings.

We’ll have a few sample tracks to share soon.
